From July, it has been illegal for retailers to sell over 80 garden pesticides and from March 31st, it will be illegal for gardeners to even have them in theirs sheds.  Find out more, here.
With the national average allotment rent at £25, the committee is looking into the implications of Self Management of the Allotment site.
The Chairman Trevor Matthews has succeeded in obtaining a Crime & Disorder grant to fix gills to the cabin door and windows.   Courtesy of Shell Better Britain, he has obtained a grant for a storage workshop.   And to cap it, he has squeezed a Seed Scheme Regeneration grant for a brush cutter, mower and rotivator.  Three cheers for Trevor's three in a row!
